“Jesus Is Life”

April 15-Acts 3:1-0; Lk. 24:13-35
April 16 Acts 3:11-26; Lk. 24-35-48

Jesus is life, both now and in the future. The call is to witness to that life. I believe Jesus is a reflection of the One God, who manifests himself in Buddha etc–the key is to believe in the Living Presence that gives meaning and purpose and respect in life.

The resurrection is about life–and our choosing life–we can wallow in our misery or we can choose to live out that life in the struggles of every day existence or we can wallow through life hurting others, selfishly living.

I spent Wednesday night in Tulare.

I went and saw my great uncle yesterday, he is 90 plus. He is giving up, and like a lot of my family has never really accepted me. I am “weird”, but then I have not lived in Porterville California all my life either. My hair is too long, I wear piercings, and I am a priest, and work with weird people. I have never been accepted. It was a painful visit, probably my last visit. I am no longer going to push it. I said my good byes. Came home for a part of serving meal, and then went to bed. Deo Gratis! Thanks be to God!
