“Life is A Struggle”
May 6, Acts 12:24-13:5; Jn. 12:44-50
I had spiritual direction this morning. We talked about working with people who are “spiritually homeless”, who have material goods, but nothing spiritually, and working with the physical homeless. I am far more at ease with the physical homeless. They are more out there about it , and they are more open to you. It is those who are “spiritually homeless” I have difficulty with and they come to me sometimes in groves. They see what I do and see it as a means of filling their emptiness, rather than looking within themselves. And so my task is to be aware of that, and be more patient. This is a struggle for me. But then life is a struggle. I have had a photographer doing a project with me tonight, and the next couple of nights she will come out. Street was quiet, but as always there are plenty out. Deo Gratis! Thanks be to God!
